Area of Specialization: Shingled roofs, Skylights

Types of shingles, tiles and pre-formed sheeting materials: Asphalt shingles, Cedar/wood shingles, Fibreglass shingles

Specific Skills: Install sheet metal flashings, Troubleshoot and detect leaks, Repair or replace roofing systems

Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Physically demanding

Work Site Environment: At heights, Noisy, Dusty

Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel

Essential Skills: Reading text, Writing, Communication, Working with others, Problem solving


Other Information about the job:

Work experience or some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training is an asset, as well as WHMIS or Rooftop Safety Certificate. Duties include torch on, siding, eavestrough, & warehouse duties.
